Longford Beekeepers Association is dedicated to being the voice for our members & to promote & to share our insights and passion for beekeeping. Our apiary is in Cullyfad, Co. Longford. The Apiary is used as an outdoor "classroom" is to teach the craft of Beekeeping. We promote Beekeeping to the public- in the local paper and in social media. We attend the Co Longford Show every year with our demonstration hive which contains a small colony accompanied by the queen. We hold meetings every third Monday of the month in the Longford Teagasc Office. We also help the community by removing swarms where possible and rehome the new colony.
